I am currently a graduate student in the astronomy department here at New Mexico State University. Over the past two years I have spent time on different research projects from studying the evolution of the neutral hydrogen content of galaxies in the Illustris simulation as a function of their group environment to analyzing the flux profile of a binary star system known as AR Scorpii using the VLBA. I am currently conducting extra-galactic research with Dr. Moire Prescott. Our research involves studying the low redshift equivalent to Lyman-alpha blobs, known as green bean galaxies!
