Mark your calendars for our first meeting: Thursday, August 28th 6-7 @ Biology Annex Rm 102.

Society of Students in Astronomy
Formed in 2025, the SSA's purpose is to build a vibrant community dedicated to connecting undergraduate astronomy enthusiasts with each other and the department. Through fun stargazing nights, observatory tours, discussions and talks led by faculty and graduate students, and educational outreach to schools, we will foster curiosity and collaboration in the field. Members can participate in workshops, citizen science initiatives, fundraisers, and exciting competitions like astrophotography.
Whether you are an experienced stargazer or new to the cosmos, join us as we explore the wonders of the universe together!
